Moved: Install EyeX Controller without Internet connection

I am in the process of installing my EyeX Controller on a PC without internet connection. During the part in which the EyeX controller updates the firmware, is there a requirement for the PC to be online?

I have also installed this on another PC that is connected to the net without issues… with the exception of having to update the USB firmware. I am also going to update the USB firmware on my current PC. Do you expect that this would solve the problem or do I need to be connected to the net?

Hi there,

yes, Internet is matter of fact required, at least the first time.
What firmware have you updated, the USB 3.0 controller of your mainboard? If so, yes, that is in some cases necessary as USB 3.0 has been developed further and older driver versions can’t handle “newer” USB 3.0 devices.
