Hand-Eye Coordination

Hand-eye coordination is the ability to perform interactions that requires the simultaneous use of our hands and eyes. By using the information we get from our eyes, we can guide our hands to carry out a specific movement, like picking up an object, opening a door, or turning a crank.

We perform hand-eye coordination tasks all the time, and eye tracking can help perfect these in VR or turn them into superpowers.

Basics

Picking Up Objects

Enable users to effortlessly pick up objects in the environment.

Gaze Targeting

Launch projectiles at targets without thinking about aiming, because your eyes are already on the target.

Throw Assist

Improve the throwing experience by increasing users’ hand-eye coordination, or increase it a lot to achieve superpowers.

Telekinesis

Manipulating objects from a distance using gaze and telekinesis enables the user to quickly control the environment and objects to the user’s preference.
