Tobii Ocumen - Overview

Tobii Ocumen is a set of tools and libraries that enable advanced use cases of eye tracking in XR. A wide range of use cases from medical diagnosis apps to academic research studies to game user testing are possible. As such, Tobii Ocumen is designed to be flexible and customizable.


Who is it for?

The Ocumen packages are designed to be used by developers or researchers with a basic understanding of programming. We aim to support the most common platforms and languages used in XR development and data analysis, currently supporting:

  • Unity
  • C#
  • Python

What’s included?

Tobii Ocumen consists of 5 components that can be used independently or in combination. The following diagram shows a typical workflow for Tobii Ocumen and which Ocumen components can be used in each step.

The diagram below shows what each of the Ocumen components contains. The Tobii XR SDK (non-Ocumen) core signals are shown below in grey for reference.


How to try it?

Below you can find samples and apps that are freely available to download and try out. With access to Tobii Ocumen you will get source code for the samples.
